You Have Options If You Plan Ahead
Thinking about the time when our pets must leave us is very difficult. A special program is available for those wishing to plan during a period of calm, not crisis which is highly recommended. Rooted Pre-Need Planning Services allows you to enjoy the last years with your pet knowing that the difficult decisions about final care have been made and will not have to be faced during a time of grief and heightened emotion.
Why Pre-Need Planning?
Unlike people, pets cannot make final arrangements for themselves. Their final resting place depends entirely upon their owner’s wishes to provide dignity and memorialization in return for the years of unquestioned love and devotion.

Because pet owners do not want to think of their pet’s inevitable death, decisions about final arrangements are often put off until the last minute. Then, when the sad day comes, they are faced with many questions in the midst of stressful emotions. Often times they will turn the matter over to someone else to “take care of it”.
We have talked to many people who, after recovering from their grief, are extremely upset to discover that there are no magical burial grounds for pets. They do not know what has become of their little friend, or are fearful to ask. Perhaps in their moment of grief, a hasty decision was made and later could not be changed.
We mention this fact simply because we want you to know that all of these decisions can be made in a period of calm–not crisis. Pre-Need Planning for Pets is a service offered by the Faithful Friends Pet Cemetery for those who recognize the wisdom of pre-planning.
How Can I Plan Ahead?
Rooted will meet with you to discuss your wishes and desires for your pet. Depending on the type of service you desire, we can meet via phone, text, email, video call or at one of our locations. Pet parents may choose the exact services they wish for their pets, keeping in mind their budget and personal preferences. Payment in full is recommended so you don't have to worry about payment the day your pet passes but some of our clients elect to pay a deposit however paying now will secure our most competitive pricing.

Later when the pet must leave you, a simple phone call, text or email is all that is needed. A member of our staff will take over, and pick up time will be scheduled. You may chose whether or not you want to be present for a final good-bye.

Your final act of love and respect is a true “thank you” for the years of love and devotion that your pet has given you. You will rest, assured that your special pet has been cared for in exactly the manner that you chose at a time when you were calm and thinking clearly.
Some Decisions To Make
Location
This decision may not be in your control but most pet farewells today are planned and euthanasia is involved. Many people choose to say goodbye in the veterinarians office but that is not the only option. Rooted will work with you to decide if the vets office, your home, a neutral location like a park or even coming to our ranch to say you goodbye is a good option for you and your pet.
Disposition
Burial and cremation are two very common choices for pet parents today. Rooted offers three types of cremation: Fire, Water and Earth. We can discuss these options and help you pick the service that works best for you and your family.
Memorial
How do you want to remember your pet when they are gone? A memorial tree planting, an urn of ash on your mantle or scattering your pet cremains i a meaningful spot. We can discuss these options with you.

Budget
If you plan ahead, Rooted can offer yo uthe most competitive pricing. No pressure but we feel so strongly in the power of having a plan that we will discount our service t pet parents who have a plan in advance of their pet's passing. Ask us about this.
